Our REAL passion is the great news that Christ Jesus came into the world to seek and save those who are lost.1
As the old hymn says, "The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives."2
And another old hymn, "Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And has shed His own blood for my soul.
My sin is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul"3
"You see, while we were still helpless... Christ died for the ungodly"4
Jesus said, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."5 "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine 'righteous' persons who [think they] need no repentance."6

I have known the Lord as my personal Savior for the last fifty-three of my seventy-two years, and I personally know that Jesus "came that we may have life and might have it abundantly."7 Those who have never experienced the love of God in a personal, intimate way -- the inner life of joy and peace He gives -- are really missing out. It reminds me of another hymn...
"I wish for you my friend, this happiness that that I've found!
You can depend on Him... it matters not where you're bound.
I'll shout it from the mountaintops! I want my world to know!
The Lord of love has come to me; I want to pass it on."8
